June (Mortimer) Squeglia, 78, of Branford, passed away November 3, 2024 at the Guilford House in Guilford, CT. She was born June 21, 1946 in Boston to George and Anne (Greene) Mortimer. June is survived by her brothers, Thomas Mortimer of Branford and Bruce Mortimer of Buffalo along with three step-grandchildren, Kim, Heather and Wayne and one great-grandson, Billy.
June was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Angelo Squeglia, her second husband, Thomas Zacks, step-daughter, Lorraine Brooks and two brothers, Bill Mortimer and George Mortimer Jr.
June worked in the Trust Department for Wells Fargo and retired after 46 years of service. She was a generous lady, always willing to give or donate to any veteran's organizations. She was a loving wife, step-mother, sister and friend.
Family will receive friends on Thursday November 7, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. in the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Ave., East Haven. Her funeral procession will then leave the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at the Church of St. Vincent de Paul, 80 Taylor Ave., East Haven with Committal to follow at East Lawn Cemetery.

My sincere condolences to all of June´s family. She was such a fine woman - a true Lady. I was privileged to know and work with her at Wells Fargo, New Haven. I look forward to seeing her in Heaven.
