June is survived by her son Jeff (Kim) Szucs, her grandsons Michael Szucs and Glenn Szucs., her sister Kathy (Craig) Smith, and her beloved nieces and nephews.
June had a distinguished career at NASA, where she began working in the 1950s. She had a passion for travel, exploring new places, and experiencing different cultures. She found joy in nature and loved capturing its beauty through photography. Her photos reflected her appreciation for the world around her and her keen eye for detail.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday May 8, 2024, at 12:00 PM. Please go to Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, Ohio 44070. The service will be adjacent to the Chapel parking.

June, I was just cleaning out my Baldwin Wallace Institute for Learning in Retirement folders and came across your name and business card. I was so very sad to learn that you had recently passed away. You were so incredibly supportive of me as I was getting my "teaching" legs underneath me. You were always attentive, asked great questions, offered sage advice and went out of your way to provide an abundance of encouraging smiles and friendly winks! You are the only person I remember from those classes because you stood out, head and shoulders, above the rest. You had an amazing aura about you. I will always remember you with kind, caring and loving thoughts. My sincere condolences to your family. You were a real gem!
