June 18, 1944 - July 30, 2025

June D. Thompson, age 81, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, surrounded by her family.

June was born on June 18, 1944, in Union City, PA, to Forest and Donna (Babcock) Hicks. She married Robert "Bob" Thompson on June 13, 1964. June worked as a machine operator for Miterfold Inc. until retirement.

June enjoyed spending time at the casino, working in her yard, and tending to her garden. She found joy in planting flowers and vegetables, painting, and creating art. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family.

June is survived by her children, Jeff (Myra) Thompson, Richard (Kim) Thompson, Daniel (Jodi) Thompson, and Tara Thompson; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Glenna Long, Linda Pike, Tanya (Marshall) Melnick, Forest "Bud" Hicks, and Sharon Demby.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Thompson; parents, Forest and Donna Hicks; children, Rob Thompson, Darrin Thompson, Bradley Thompson, and an angel baby; and sisters, Shelby Thompson, Sandy Hicks, and Gene Hicks.

Ritchay Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
