THOMPSON, June Irene "Judy" - Age 92, of Fenton, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2025. Cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association.
Judy was born April 22, 1933 in Detroit, the daughter of Harold Alexander and Gladys Marie (Selman) Eathorne. She married Alexander Thompson January 21, 1956 in Fenton and he preceded her in death October 10, 2001. She was a member of the Fenton American Legion Post #38, where she would work serving hamburgers during Bingo. Judy enjoyed walking, shopping at Dancer's, playing bingo, going to garage sales, vacationing on Higgins Lake and most of all taking care of her grandchildren.
Surviving are: her children, Mary (Trace) Duval of Fenton, Pam (Matt) Burke of Elk Rapids and Jay Thompson of Fenton; grandchildren, Taylor (Justin) Johnson, Danielle (Mike Mulholland) Duval, Rachel (Adam) King, Rachael Harris, Ron (Nikki) Harris II, Katie Domby, Ryan (Jen) Burke, Chad (Lori) Burke, and Sarah Hetcel; 14 great grandchildren; sister, Lucille Chittick; sister-in-law, Rose Eathorne; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Gladys Eathorne; sisters, Grace Harwood and Doris Brady; and brothers, Jim and Richard Eathorne. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
