Mrs. Wright was employed with Biljo, a pants manufacturer, for thirty-five plus years where she worked as a supervisor for several years prior to its closing. She worked as a pharmacy technician at Gayco Healthcare from 2005 to 2014. She served as a dedicated member of the Buckeye Baptist Church's mass choir for many years. Mrs. Wright enjoyed shopping, cooking, planting and growing all kinds of flowers, and above all spending time with her family.

Thomas; siblings, Larry Sims and James Sims; father and mother-in-law, Adolf and Mary Lou Wright; in-laws, Ida Wells, Rudolph Wright, Jimmie Willis, Jordan Wright, Beauty Jordan, Cecilia Peacock, Lois Little, Bobby Wright, and Charles Wright.
