Alvie Lee "Junior" Gee, Jr., 59, of Wallingford, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at his residence.
Born in Cincinnati, Ohio on September 24, 1966, Junior was the son of the the late Alvie Lee Gee and the late Carrie Margaret Wallingford Gee.
Junior was a farmer who worked as an auto mechanic, a truck driver, and a heavy equipment operator. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was big on dirt track racing, go carts, RCs and late model vehicles. His favorite phrase was, "I can't, never could".
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Lisa Diane Reeves Gee; his son, Joseph Brent Gee and wife Emily; his daughter, Carrie Margaret Frances Gee; his first cousins that he grew up with, "Big Brother" Ronnie Black and wife LeeAnn and Dawnella Faris and husband Jimmy; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jackie and Gaye Reeves; his cat, Miss Kitty; along with many extended family members and friends.
In addition to his mom and dad, Junior was preceded in death by his aunt who raised him, Goldie Frances Black.
The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 15, 2025, at Boone-Nickell Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Tucker and Bro. Terry Moore officiating.
Junior will be laid to rest in Wedonia Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Ashley Black, Tyler Black, Jimmy Faris, Dale Miller, Chris Collett, and Josh Porter. Honorary pallbearers include Ronnie Black, and Robbie Logan.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, October 14, at Boone-Nickell located at 150 West Water Street in Flemingsburg.
