Justin Jordan Cone, born on April 24, 2000, in Lubbock, Texas, passed away on December 30, 2024. He was a dedicated student at Texas Tech University where he balanced his education with his work as a bartender at HEB. He was both well-liked and respected due to his warm spirit and lively personality therefore touching the lives of those around him.
Justin was a vibrant individual with a wide array of interests. He found joy in riding his motorcycle and golfing, often sharing memorable days on the greens with friends and family. An enthusiastic music lover, Justin loved attending concerts, reveling in the energy and connection that live performances brought. He was known for his impeccable fashion sense, always a man of style who left a lasting impression wherever he went.
Above all, Justin cherished his family. He had a special bond with his little sister J'ly. He loved telling her captivating stories, often making her laugh with his animated storytelling. Justin is survived by his mother Sonia Cone, father Tony Cone, brother Jesse Cone, sister J'ly Cone, grandfather Julio Hernandez, Sr., grandmother Maria Hernandez, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins who will miss him dearly.
A funeral service will be held at Turning Point Community Church on January 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM, where family and friends will gather to celebrate Justin's life and the cherished memories he leaves behind.
Justin was preceded in death by his paternal grand parents Carrol Cone and Jessie Jones and his great grandma Rebeca DeLeon.
