Justin Ronald Faulkner was born October 14, 1983 in McAlester, OK to Rhonda (Cunningham) Dugan and Terry Faulkner. He left those that loved him on October 31, 2025 in Hartshorne OK at the age of 42, after a tragic accidental death by electrocution, doing what he loved, promoting his hometown.
Services for Justin will be Thursday, November 6th, at 2:00 at the Hartshorne Elementary Activity Center. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 at Brumley Mills, Hartshorne. Burial will follow Thursday's service at Elmwood Cemetery in Hartshorne.
Justin married the love of his life, Ashley McCullar on November 14, 2009, a loving, fun-filled relationship that began on July 4, 2003. Their relationship was one filled with laughs, good times and most importantly, love. Together, they enjoyed camping, and any event they could share with each other and their boys.
Justin was "the guy." He was a true Hartshorne Miner, attending school from Kindergarten until graduation in 2002. He then attended EOSC and graduated in 2005. He was a proud member of Seminole Nation of Oklahoma. Justin began working at Lowes in 2005-2008. Ten years of Justin's life was spent working for EST, Inc. as a Lab Technician. In 2017, Justin went to work in the Carpentry Shop at McAlester Army Ammunition Plant. He was a proud Volunteer Fireman for the City of Hartshorne from 2016-2023.
Justin loved life and lived it in the biggest fashion. He never missed an opportunity to take the mic, either as a DJ or performing Karaoke. To say he was a sports fanatic would be an understatement. He loved all things Hartshorne Miners, Oklahoma Sooners, Kansas City Royals, OKC Thunder and was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. Raider HATER!
Justin and Ashley's relationship began on July 4, 2003, perhaps being the reason, he loved that time in Hartshorne as "Fancy Pants Faulkner", Sheriff of Hartshorne. He loved his role in the Blue Mountain Western Festival and being part of the Jack Fork Gang.
Faulkner, as most commonly called by all, had an infectious laugh and smile. He loved deeply and wasn't afraid to say it or show it. To say he could light up any room is as true as his lighting up the sky at the Annual Beare Cave Fireworks Show or Hartshorne Miner Playoff Games. There simply wasn't an event without Faulkner setting up or taking down.
Of all the things Faulkner loved, his greatest love was for his wife, his boys and his family. He is survived by his wife Ashley and two sons, Cash Griffin and Ridge Reid, of the home; his mother, Rhonda Dugan of Hartshorne, his father Terry Faulkner of Holdenville, and his brother Jared Faulkner. He also is survived by his grandparents, Ronald and Charlotte Cunningham of Hartshorne; Mother and Father in-law, Mark and Rhonda McCullar, Sister in-law and brother in-law, Autumn and Daniel Thurman as well as his nephews, Axel and Ayce and niece, Aspen Thurman of Durant; Aunt and Uncle Jana and Gerry Pirtle of Broken Arrow and their children Blake Pirtle and wife Liz and Taryn Pirtle; Uncle and Aunt Richard and Linda Bivin. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Faulkner is preceded in passing by his step father Dennis Dugan; his paternal grandparents Jimmy and Elsie Faulkner and Great Aunt Judy Cunningham.
Faulkner will be laid to rest by Pallbearers Jeff Beare, Cody Wilson, Daniel Thurman, Axel Thurman, Blake Pirtle, Tyson Brooks, John David Spears, Kyle Bernardi and Eric O'Kelley.
Honorary Pallbearers will be MCAAP Carpentry Shop, John Hardin, Blaine Harjo, Noah Irwin, Mike Angeli, Zac Royer, Michael Martin, Mike Smith, and Alex Haynes.
