Justin "JB" Bradley Jenkins, born on March 14, 2000, to Wanda McDonald Snipes and the late Kerry B. Jenkins, left this world too soon at the age of 25, on April 19, 2025. He was a bright light in the lives of many, remembered fondly for his generosity, warmth, and zest for life.
JB was a young man who truly made the most of every moment. His heart was filled with a love for baseball, a game that brought him joy and camaraderie with friends. He also had a passion for music, often filling the space around him with melodies that reflected his vibrant personality. He was also known for his mechanical skills, spending hours working on cars—a hobby that allowed him to express his creativity and determination.
JB is survived by his devoted mother, Wanda McDonald Snipes and his children, Willow Grace Jenkins and Finn Norris. JB also leaves behind his sisters, Cierra McDonald and Brandy Moseley along with her husband Levi. They will cherish the memories they created together. He was also a beloved uncle to five nieces and two nephews, whose laughter and joy he adored. He was also survived by an uncle, aunts, 5 nieces, 2 nephews and numerous cousins. JB's family connections extended further, with a step-mother, DeAnne Jenkins.
Though JB’s journey through life was interrupted, he is preceded in death by his father Kerry; his daughter, Adalynne Rea Jenkins; his maternal grandparents, Larry and Mary McDonald; and paternal grandparents, James and Ada Mae Jenkins, who welcomed him with open arms.
A visitation will be held in his honor on Friday, May 2, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 7:00 PM at Benson Funeral & Cremation Services, located at 101 Oak Grove St., Mt. Holly, NC 28120. Family and friends are invited to come together to share their memories and celebrate the extraordinary life of JB.
