Justin Matthew Lagana

Justin Matthew Lagana, 42, of Surfside Beach, SC, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. He was born September 20, 1982, in Clinton, Maryland, a son of George S. Lagana, Sr. and Cathy Anne Stack Lagana both of Surfside Beach, SC.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Steve Lagana, of Burr Hill, VA; nephew, Tyler R. Lagana of California, Maryland; beloved dog, Roscoe; cat, Kiki, aka "Walter"; as well as many other extended family members.
He is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Pauline Stack and C.W. Stack; paternal grandparents Selby W. Lagana, Sr. and Margaret Ann Lagana.
Justin was an avid outdoorsman; he loved spending time hunting, fishing, riding four wheelers, and just being outside. He was a jack of all trades and owned and operated Justin Lagana's Handyman Service. Justin helped his father build their family cabin in Stuart, VA where he spent a lot of his time. He was always willing to help someone out, even if it meant giving up the shirt off his own back, and he was loved by the local elderly community.
A celebration of Justin's life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday April 12, 2025, at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Hwy, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576. The family will receive friends immediately following the service until 4PM.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made in Justin's name to a charity of one's choice.
