Justin Ray Lang, born January 27th 1984 in Sterling, Colorado, passed on September 22, 2023 in Vernal, Utah. He attended school in Sterling, Peetz, and Merino.
He survived by his father Gregory Lang of Vernal Utah, his mother Raelene Rhodes Merino Colorado, Fiancé Mindy Holmes of Vernal Utah, His twin brother Jason Lang of Merino Colorado, His other brother John Lang of Sterling Colorado, his maternal grandmother Marilyn Frank, of Sterling Colorado, and paternal grandmother Vada Lang of Kansas City.
He is preceded in death by his dog Wurm, both of his grandfathers, Carl J. Frank Sr. and Ralph Lang.
“He was a best friend, and my son raising him as a teenager was like nailing Jello to a tree”. Justin loved the outdoors hunting, fishing, ice fishing, riding, four wheeling camping whether in the mountains or desert, river stream, or lake. He loved being with his dogs and friends. His favorite season is winter and a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan. He loved to work and preferred construction but would and could do anything that was asked of him. We could always depend on a laugh and a smile whenever he is around. He was always willing to help others and would give the shirt off his back if he thought anyone needed it not wanting anything in return. After you pass the rough exterior, he has a huge heart and a giving beautiful soul. He was very loved and will be deeply missed by all. "He wasn't an asshole, he was the whole ass, but he was my ass."
Funeral Services for Justin will be held Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 10 am at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary, with a viewing 1 hour prior to service.
