Justin William Ransom, 43, of Leasburg, Missouri, passed away near his home late Saturday, July 12, 2025. Born on March 13, 1982, in Sullivan, Missouri, to Roger and Janice (Parnell) Ransom, Justin's life was a vibrant tapestry woven with creativity, kindness, and a deep love for the world around him. His final moments were spent in Leasburg, Missouri, surrounded by the natural beauty he so cherished throughout his life.

Growing up in Bourbon, Missouri, Justin's early life was marked by a spirited enthusiasm for music and exploration. His journey led him to Destiny College in Oklahoma, where he broadened his horizons and prepared for a future that would be as diverse as his interests. Justin's professional career was a reflection of his multifaceted personality. Upon returning to Missouri after college, he was employed with Tri-Star BMW in Manchester, where his diligent work ethic and affable nature made him a beloved member of the team. He spent time working in construction, an industry that allowed him to shape the world in tangible ways. Later, he joined Puroclean in Sullivan, and most recently, he found his calling as a Lead Technician with ADB Telecommunications in Pacific, Missouri-a role he was genuinely passionate about.

Justin's love for music was the melody that played softly in the background of his life's journey. From the tender age of a young boy, he embraced the saxophone, and over time, his musical repertoire expanded to include the guitar among other instruments. His talent and passion for music led him to play with two bands, Oxidizer and the Good Time Engineers, where he brought joy and rhythm to many.

A man of the outdoors, Justin found solace in the embrace of nature. Camping trips, excursions to the river, and adventures in his favorite state of Utah were the activities that replenished his spirit. In these tranquil settings, he often indulged in his creative pursuits, from woodworking and leatherwork to the delicate strokes of drawing. Each piece he created was a testament to his imaginative spirit and his capacity to see beauty in the raw materials of the earth.

Those fortunate enough to have known Justin knew him as a creative, independent soul-an extremely kind and good friend whose presence was a comfort and inspiration. His loving nature extended beyond his craft and hobbies, touching the lives of all who crossed his path. Justin lived a rogue life, not in the sense of a wanderer, but as someone who followed the beat of his own drum, unafraid to carve out a path that was uniquely his own.

Justin is survived by his parents, Roger (Ruby) Ransom of Leasburg, MO and Janice DeLorenzo and husband, Mark of Dittmer, MO; his siblings: Tawnya Parnell, Abigail Adams, both of Pacific, MO, Laura, Patty, Lisa, Steven, Megan & Luke, Brittany Snyder & Alex DeLorenzo; nieces and nephew: Sumor, Kobe, & Tracy; a great niece, Lyrical; aunts & uncles: Debbie Ransom of Leasburg, MO, Debbie Isgrig and husband, Stanley of Bourbon, MO, Raymond Ransom of Cuba, MO, Bob Ransom and wife, Sonja of Vancouver, WA and Terry Parnell of Bourbon; cousins: Shawna Speaks and husband, Joe, Trisha Parnell and Ryan Parnell; and numerous other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James and Imo Ransom; great-niece, Wintor; and cousins, Amanda Parnell and Jacobe Price.

Services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, July 19, 2025 at the Eaton Funeral Home in Sullivan with Doug Chepely officiating. Burial will follow at Crossroads Cemetery, Leasburg, MO.

Visitation will be 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, Saturday, July 19, 2025 prior to the service at the Funeral Home.
