Today, we announce the passing of a daughter and sister, Justina G. Vasquez at the age of 45 years old. Born on October 12, 1980, to her parents Leonel G. Vasquez and Gloria Julia Vasquez. The souvenir from their trip to Acapulco, she was born a full-term baby with an umbilical cord wrapped around her neck, resulting in her condition becoming brain damaged and multiple handicap. Yet, it did not hold back her life. She had fought through it, and she was loved all around. She ws the Queen of our family and she made sure we knew it every chance she'd got. Justina's life had started out depressing when we were told that she would not live up to 24 hours after being born. After several procedures throughout her life, we were then told she wouldn't make it past the age 10 years old. Eventually, we had a miracle to celebrate her in her Quinceanera, surrounded by family and friends. Years later, she was still full of life and love while fighting to the end. In death, she has joined her father Leonel G. Vasquez and her sister-in-law Leticia Ann Martinez Vasquez. She was survived by her mother Gloria Julia Vasquez, along with her siblings Leonel G. Vasquez Jr. (Beatrice), Conrado G. Vasquez (Elsa), Roxanne Garza (Javier Sr.), Carolina G. Vasquez (john Hill), and Emiliano G. Vasquez (Fatima). Survived by 20 nieces and nephews, 33 great nieces and nephews, and 4 great-great0nieces and nephews.
