Justine Marie Mrozowski

Justine Mrozowski, lovingly known as Judy - or simply "Nana" to many - passed away peacefully on September 8, 2025, at the age of 90 in Casco, Michigan.

Born in Schenectady, New York, on April 16, 1935, Judy was a graduate of Mount Pleasant High School, Class of 1953. She carried her vibrant spirit through every chapter of her life-from her upbringing and many decades in New York to her later years in Michigan, surrounded by family, friends, and her beloved pets.

Judy worked for over two decades at NAPA Auto Parts (1976–1998), where she was known for her dedication and warmth, but it was outside of work where her personality truly shined. A gifted cook, Judy brought joy to those around her through her delicious food, which was always served with love. She was also a sharp and skillful bowler, hitting the lanes with competitive spirit for over 50 years.

Whether dancing and cracking jokes, cooking for family and friends, or sitting at a slot machine for hours, Judy knew how to make the most of every moment. She had a deep appreciation for life's simple pleasures and passed that love for fun and family down to her children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Robin Mrozowski; her parents, Carl and Justine Meluch; her sister, Carla Podgurski; brothers-in-law, Don Podgurski and Charlie Smith; and her son-in-law, Dan Clements. She is survived by her loving daughters, June Clements and Janis Dunn; her cherished grandchildren, Sara (Jay) Overy, Ryan Dunn, and Jeffrey Clements; her beloved sister, Barbara Smith; and several nieces and nephews. Her legacy of laughter and strength lives on in each of them.

Judy will be remembered not only for her humor and zest for life, but for the kindness and comfort she gave to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She was the heart of her family and will be deeply missed.

A service will be held at a later date to celebrate Judy's life.
