Juwana Rose Wagoner Summers, 65, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, April 25, 2025. Born on August 31, 1959, to the late Robert Woodrow and Vallie Marie Hughes Wagoner, Juwana's life was characterized by her unwavering love and devotion to those around her.
Juwana was a devoted wife to Timothy Scott Summers for 33 loving years, creating a home filled with warmth and compassion. Family meant everything to her; she cherished her time with her loved ones, especially her beloved mother, whom she cared for daily until her passing last year. A proud grandmother, Juwana found joy in every moment spent with her granddaughter, Ella, and their playful games of hide and seek will always be a treasured memory.
Throughout her life, Juwana radiated kindness. Whether it was through her work at Wal-Mart, where she touched many lives with her cheerful spirit, or her fondness for simple pleasures like watching daytime soaps or taking family trips to Emerald Isle and Bugs Island, she found joy in the little things and shared that joy generously.
Juwana is survived by her husband, Scott Summers; her son, Robert Scott Summers; her daughter, Amanda Rose Windley, and her husband, Ryan Elwood Windley; her granddaughter, Ella Rose Windley; and her brothers, Kevin W. Wagoner and his wife, Bonne, Charles J. Wagoner and his wife, Martha, and Ted J. Wagoner and his wife, Linda. She is preceded in death by her dear sister, Robin W. Wagoner.
A service to celebrate Juwana’s beautiful life will be held on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at 3:00PM at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Rodney Murray. The family will receive friends from 1:45-2:45pm prior to the service, Juwana will be laid to rest in a private burial at Alamance Memorial Park.
Juwana Rose Wagoner Summers will forever be remembered for her selflessness, love, and the indelible mark she left on the hearts of everyone she encountered. May her memory continue to inspire and bring comfort to all who knew her.
