This Is My Story
My name is KAI JERMAINA BLAKNEY. I was born on March 6th 1982, to Verna Brown and Ralph Blakney; at the Bryn Mawr Hospital, Bryn Mawr, PA. I was supposed to be born in the month of April, but I was in a rush, so I came a month early, and I was blessed from day one. The doctors didn't think I was going to live past a year, but I was a miracle baby, God's daughter; and he had other plans for me. You see, his plan was for me to bring pure love to everyone I encountered in my life, so that's what I did. My favorite sayings were "I Love You", "Peace and Love", "If you don't know, you better ask somebody", and "be careful now".
I never forgot a face or your voice. I was blessed with a photographic memory.
I attended Wynnefield Academy and graduated from Overbrook High school where I received my diploma, I was employed at Path Adult workshop for 15 years. I attended L&L Dance studio for 3 years, receiving The Miss L&L dance trophy. I loved to dance. Two of my favorite songs were Billie Jean & Maria Maria. I also received trophies in bowling and track from the Carousel House.
I had quite a few favorite things that I loved to do, like going to Church with my favorite Aunt Meen praising the Lord, shopping, doing my puzzles, and celebrating special occasions with my family and friends. I loved my birthday's because each one of them was a gift from God. Last but not least, I loved chilling out watching the Disney Channel, the Bernie Mac show, and the Fresh Prince of Belair just to name a few.
My mission is over, I finished the race. Well done my good and faithful servant.
I LOVE YOU
I leave to cherish my precious memories
