Born on July 29th, 1999, in Rockledge, Florida, Kailee grew up on the Space Coast, where she enjoyed childhood summers with her family on road trips, going fishing, and spending time with her brother playing video games.Driven by her deep desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others, Kailee studied Clinical Psychology at the University of Central Florida. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from UCF in 2022. Her passion for helping those in need carried into her professional life, where she worked as a Child Protective Investigator for the Florida Department of Children & Families. In this role, Kailee was a fierce advocate for the safety and well-being of children, dedicating herself to ensuring that every individual received the care and protection they deserved.Outside of her professional work, Kailee's love for animals was a defining part of her spirit. She shared her home with two beloved pitbulls - Saint and Axel - whom she adored and cared for deeply. Kailee also had a strong adoration for music. Her favorite musical artist was Machine Gun Kelly, whom she attended numerous concerts of and met personally.Kailee was known for her tenacious and steadfast demeanor. She was a fighter her whole life. Not only did Kailee fight for her health, but she also fought to bring awareness to the challenges many underprivileged people face in their day-to-day lives. She was unrelenting in her belief that everyone deserves to be treated equally and with love and respect. In keeping with Kailee's loving and generous nature, she decided to give the gift of life through organ donation, where she has restored life's promises to multiple families in need. Her nurturing heart extended to her family and friends, and she will be remembered for her unwavering love and dedication as a daughter, sister, granddaughter, and friend. Kailee is survived by her mother, Sonya Heater, father, Korey Heater, brother, Miles and (Sara) Heater, grandparents, Ann and Jim Greever, grandparents Chuck and (Zineb) Heater, grandmother Dolly Vail, aunt, Kimberly Henderson, cousins Kevin Heater, Jason and Anthony Henderson, and a wide circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:30 a.m. on July 26th, 2025 in the DC Pavillion at Kiwanis Island Park, Merritt Island, FL. The family welcomes flowers for the celebration, or donations to Kailee's favorite charity at Brevard Humane Society. In the days to come, we will hold Kailee in our hearts, honoring her memory and the profound impact she made on all who knew her. We love you, Kailee.
