Obituary
Kailey James Wade, 4 years old, of Louisville, Kentucky was called home to be with Jesus on Wednesday, April 5, 2023 at Norton Children's Hospital. Kailey was born in Louisville, Kentucky on October 13, 2018 to Robert "Bobby" Wade III & Chelsey (King) Wade. She was the most loving child who brightened every room with her smile, excitement, and big hugs. She was the epitome of pure, selfless love and grace. Her biggest pride was being a big sister; including Dani in everything she did and teaching her everything she knew. Her love, kindness, and thoughtfulness towards others was a blessing to anyone she encountered. Some of her favorite things included snuggling with her dogs Bella & Daisy, being with her extended family, swimming and being outside, playing and learning with friends at preschool, craft time with Mom and Dani, hanging out in the shop with Dad, helping out in the kitchen, eating Mexican food, playing iSpy and singing in the car, and going to the farm - especially throwing rocks in the pond and going on Crew rides. Kailey touched each and every person she met and will continue to do so through the impact she left with them.
Kailey is survived by her parents, Bobby & Chelsey Wade; her sister and best friend, Dani Wade; grandparents, Doug & Dena King and Robert & Sandra Wade Jr.; Aunt Jessica & Uncle Brian, Aunt Rae Rae & Uncle Jared, Uncle JiJi and Aunt Bekah; cousins Maddie & JT; and several great-grandparents.
There will be a visitation held on Monday, April 10, 2023 from 2-7pm at Scott Funeral Home, 2515 Veterans Parkway, Jeffersonville, Indiana 47130. There will be a graveside service held on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 11am located at Crosswater Gardens Cemetery, 7110 Billtown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40299.
