Kalawati Soni Obituary
She was born December 31, 1919 in India to Prakash and Hukam Devi (Tandon) Kapoor.
Survivors include three daughters, Vashna Gupta, Kamayani Narang and Avlokita Badhwar; six grandchildren, Sanjay, Vivek, Ritu, Neha, Jaya and Priya; a great-grandchild, Krishan; a brother, Yashwant Kapoor and a sister, Sushila Kapoor.
Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until the 4 p.m. service Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014, at Justen Funeral Home & Crematory, 3700 W. Charles J. Miller Road, McHenry, IL 60050. The cremation rite will be accorded privately.
For those wishing to send an expression of condolence, her family suggests memorials to The Hadley School for the Blind, 700 Elm Street, Winnetka, Illinois 60093 or to a local charitable organization for the visually impaired.
