Funeral services for Kaleb Paul Istre, 19, will be held on Thursday October 3, 2024, in the Miguez Funeral Home Chapel in Jennings, beginning at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Mike Trahan officiating.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Thursday October 3, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. He will be laid to rest in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Cemetery, under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.
Kaleb had a true passion for the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and farming. He was kind and loving person, that always had a smile on him. We will always cherish his memories, and he will never be forgotten.
Left to cherish those memories are his parents, Nicole (Bryan) Duhon; brother, Nathan Pinon; sisters, Madison Pinon and Brooklyn Pinon; grandparents, Patricia Istre and Allen Istre; and his k-9 companion, Harley.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Wallace Istre; great grandfathers, John O. Istre, Sr. and Louis Roy; great grandmother, Ella Roy; and uncle, Nicholas Istre.
