KALEB KING
With heavy hearts, but deep gratitude for his life, we announce the passing of our beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend, Kaleb King, who went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 7th, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.
Kaleb lived a life full of love, laughter, and faith. He was a man who gave of himself without hesitation-always putting others before his own needs and ready with a helping hand. His kindness and generosity touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
He was a man of faith, devoted to God. Kaleb lived out his beliefs not just in words, but through quiet acts of service and steadfast love. Whether through a gentle smile, a heartfelt word, or a spontaneous act of generosity, he reflected Christ's love.
Kaleb had a gift for making people laugh. His sense of humor could light up any room, and his quick wit reminded us not to take life too seriously. Behind every joke was a heart that simply loved to see others smile.
Music was the soundtrack of his life-he found joy and peace in every note. Whether he was singing along to his favorite song, writing his own version of songs, or simply tapping his hand or foot to the beat, his love for music was a reflection of the joy that filled his soul.
Above all, Kaleb was a loving and devoted husband who cherished his family deeply. He loved fiercely and cared endlessly, creating a home filled with warmth, laughter, and faith.
He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Kerri, his parents, Buddy and Tracy King, brother, Joshua (Naomi) King, aunts, Sheila Johnson and Kandi (Harry) Locklear, special cousin and brother, Jason (Janet) Johnson, his father and mother in law, Doug and Susan Hollifield, brother in laws, Matt (Teresa) Hollifield and Mark (Morgan) Hollifield, several nieces and nephews, along with countless family and friends who were blessed to know him. Though his absence leaves a great void, his legacy of love, faith, and joy will live on in all of us.
He is proceeded in death by his maternal grandparents, Roger and Myrtle Cannady, paternal grandparents, Buddy and Tina King, Sr. Uncles, Bobby King, Chuck King, and Eddie Johnson, and nephew, Banks Hollifield.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 pm, Friday, October 10, 2025, at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, prior to the service at Sandifer Funeral Home.
Until we meet again, we will hold you in our hearts, smile at your jokes, hum along to your songs, and thank God for the beautiful life you lived.
The family is at their respective homes. Flowers are accepted or memorials in Kaleb's name may be made to the Banks Lukah Hollifield Memorial Scholarship, 315 Damascus Church Road, Long Creek, SC 29658. Condolences may be expressed online by visiting www.sandiferfuneralhome.com.
