Kalvin Somsai Darapheth, 17 of Findlay passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at Toledo ProMedica Hospital. He was born in Findlay, Ohio on January 27, 2007 to Thang Darapheth and Vida Inthavong, his parents survive. He was the older brother to Jordan, Kyle and Lydia. He was a junior at the Digital Academy. He was celebrated from the day of his birth. Kalvin lived life to the fullest, his unwavering loyalty to his friends and family only made him more of a brother to all. He was a very caring individual. He was not a teenager of many words, being very shy and quiet, but when he was comfortable and knew you, he was a beautiful soul. Kalvin was a kind, spontaneous and silly person. Art was Kalvin's world, from music, drawing, and calligraphy. He always had the mind of an artist. He loved the outdoors. Fishing being one of his favorite hobbies. He was loved and cherished by many, Kalvin never let anyone down. He was always there for those in need. He now rests his beautiful soul.
Visitation will be held from 11am-12pm on Saturday, November 2, 2024 at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME where the service will begin at 12pm and conclude at 3pm. The Wat Prathammongkhol Buddest Temple Monks will lead the service. Memorials can be made to the family via Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, 205 West Sandusky Street, Findlay, OH 45840. Online codolences can be shared by visiting coldrencrates.com.
