Kamala Ananth Obituary
Kamala Ananth, age 86, of Palos Verdes Estates, CA passed away on February 25th, 2026. Born in India, she was a devoted wife and mother who moved to Canada and then in 1981 came to Palos Verdes Estates, CA where she lived for 45 years and was a cherished member of the community. She volunteered at Torrance Memorial Hospital for many years, until recently, when her health prevented her from continuing. She is survived by her son Dr. Kartik Ananth, daughter-in-law Fabiana Ananth, and grandchildren Zara, Roy, and Stella. She was preceded in death by Dr. Jambur Ananth (Spouse).
The family extends their thanks to all of the medical doctors, nurses, and caregivers, as well as to friends and family who helped Kamala in her final years.
Services for Kamala will be held on Monday, March 2, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Coastal Funeral Center.
