With shattered hearts, we mourn the sudden and tragic loss of our beloved Kameron Mason, who was taken from us far too soon on May 22, 2025. Kameron was the heartbeat of our family-a devoted father, a cherished son, a loyal brother, a loving partner,and a fearless guardian to all who knew him. Though his life was cut short by an unthinkable act of violence, his legacy of love, strength, and unwavering protection will endure forever.
Kameron was the glue that held us together, the one who filled every room with laughter and stood as a shield for those he loved. His courage knew no bounds-he was a fighter, a provider, and a hero in every sense. His greatest pride and joy were his two beautiful children, Kamden and Remi Mason, whom he loved with every fiber of his being. Though his time with them was cut short, the lessons of resilience, kindness, and unconditional love he instilled in them will live on.
He leaves behind his grieving parents, Leah McKenzie and Brandon Mason, who cherished their son beyond measure. His grandparents, Jeff Mason, Mary Mason, and Donna Caldwell, and his step-parents, Mike McKenzie and Ami Mason, mourn the loss of a grandson and stepson who brought so much light into their lives. His brothers, Keenan and Kyler Mason, have lost not just a sibling but a lifelong protector and best friend. His beloved partner, Sydney Duncan, has lost her rock, her love, and her greatest supporter. His extended family, Corey and Megan McKenzie, Levi and Miles Roane, Leah Mason, Ava and Amelia Mason, cousins, aunts and uncles, countless friends, and all who were blessed to know him will forever feel the absence of his radiant spirit.
Kameron's strength, his laughter, and his fierce loyalty will be deeply missed. He was loved boundlessly, and that love will never fade. In our grief, we hold tight to the promise of God's comfort and the hope of being reunited one day.

Rest in eternal peace, our brave, beautiful Kameron. You were our light, our protector, and our joy. Until we meet again-we will carry you in our hearts always.

I did not know Kameron but I knew his mother and being the person Leah is I can imagine the beautiful human she created. Sounds like he was a great person. My heart goes out to both sides of the family and especially to his children and parents no one is prepared to bury their child. I will be praying for Gods peace , understanding and comfort.

I was heartbroken to hear about the tragic loss of Kameron Mason, I had the privilege of meeting him when he helped move me into my apartment at the Augustan. His professionalism, kindness, and genuine care left a lasting impression on me, and I am deeply saddened by this unimaginable loss.
Please know that my thoughts are with your family during this time of sorrow. I cannot imagine the pain you´re facing, but I want you to know that Kameron´s warmth and dedication touched the lives of many-including mine. He will not be forgotten.

2 months ago was applying for apartment at McArthur and this impressive guy walked in and greeted me with how are you doing sir? I have never forgotten him or those respectful words.thats all it took for me to form an indelible impression of this man.i never forgot it and was saddened by this tremendous loss.

Through my position in Law Enforcement we spoke so many times together about how we want this to be a better place for our kids. You allowed me to speak wisdom into your life and encourage you. I was proud of you for your promotion. You never let our conversation end without you telling me, me to be safe out there. I wish in that moment I could have been there for you. I've lost more military and law enforcement friends than I would like to say, but it always hurts the most when I know they are a parent, a young parent, a young person who had their whole lives ahead of them. Your smile, your kindness, your friendship will not be forgotten. Your time here may have been cut short, but you were able to impact lives with the time you had. I believe that is our biggest purpose in Gods eyes, make a difference. Rest easy my friend.

I did not know this young man b
but was saddened to read of the senseless crime against him. From reading about him he seemed to be a fine young man just navigating life. I pray that God will comfort his loved ones and I pray those who committed such a senseless crime will be held responsible.

I´m so very sorry for yalls loss. Kam was such an amazing person and could light up someone´s day with his smile. He was my property manager where I live until he moved over to McArthur, I can say I´ve never seen anyone care so much about his residents as he did. Ty for sharing him with us!
