Kameron Shorter Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Troy B. Smith Professional Services on Jun. 4, 2025.
Kameron Terrell Shorter was born on February 2, 2003, in Houston, Texas, to Kirt M Shorter and Brenda W. Shorter. He graduated from Willowridge High School in Houston, Texas.
He lived a full life of happiness, laughter, and always kept a smile on his face. Kameron kept everyone laughing because you knew he would bring sunshine and joy into a room. His way of communicating his comedic behavior, were his common phrases of "Dance, Dance," "Cheese," "Haircut," "Jump, Jump", "Kick", "Outside" and all of us can say "TO THE LEFT, TO THE LEFT". Kameron made sure you heard him full of energy and dancing to his beat of life.
Kameron leaves behind to mourn mother Brenda, father Kirt, sister Octavia, nephew Braelen, Grandmother Ella Lewis, beloved heavenly grandmother Jeweline Washington, grandfather Billy Joe Washington, and Howard Yell, great aunt-grandma Ruby, great uncle-Paw Paw Jay, heavenly cousin-aunt Tommy (Tinka), cousin-aunt Tangelia (Pig), cousin-uncles Virgil, Kenneth, James (Skeeter), uncles Kenneth (Andrea), Kevin, Karl, Kareem Ali, Terry Toliver, Louis Yell, Howard Yell Jr. (Beverly), Great-Aunt Rissie Berry, Great-Uncles Ezell Shorter, Henderson Shorter, Charles Shorter, Great-aunt Linda Yell (Marshall), Great-uncle Henderson Yell. He also leaves behind Godmothers Nanette Cornish and heavenly Rita Williams (Walter), God sisters Markayla Webster, Kiara Chatman, Destini Williams, Ta'Niyah Williams, a God brother Jeriamy Smith, and a loving multitude of cousins and family.
