Obituary published on Legacy.com by Peeples Family Funeral Homes on Oct. 30, 2025.
October 28th, 2025 is a day that we will always remember, as Kameron Wayne Witt was called by his savior to come home at the young age of 24. This loss will forever affect everyone who had the pleasure of knowing Kameron. If you knew Kam, you knew that he had the most precious soul that one could have. Some of his most magnificent qualities included his charm and his quick wit. He left a remarkable impression on everyone he ever met and could always leave someone laughing and with a smile on their face. He was no stranger to a quick joke or pun. Kameron was a very loving person with the kindest heart. He showed his love through his thoughtfulness for others. Kam would be the first to help out anyone in need no matter what. He could anticipate what others needed and solve their problems, sometimes before they even knew they needed it. Kameron was well known for his ample amounts of vehicles. He had an uncanny ability to fix up anything and make it brand new. His handiness was not only limited to vehicles, but he could fix anything set in front of him, even if he was unfamiliar with it.
Kameron Wayne Witt was born in
Jacksonville, Florida on July 13th, 2001. His parents Troy and Spring Witt brought him home where they raised him into the amazing young man he was. Kameron spent his childhood in the rural areas of Jacksonville and eventually graduated from West Nassau High School as a member of the class of 2019. From there, he continued to pursue his career by attending the University of North Florida where he graduated with a degree in Building Construction. Throughout his journey in college, Kameron interned at MIller Electric Company where he later became an Assistant Project Manager. He did not lack knowledge or work ethic. In fact, everyone he worked with can attest that he was one of the brightest and hardest working people.
Kameron was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents Roger Witt and Florence Witt and great-grandmother Betty Figgatt. He is survived by his parents Troy and Spring Witt, his younger sister Mackenzie Witt, grandparents Jimmy and Debbie Warren, his uncle and aunt Andrew and Gloria Szubelak, along with a loving group of extended family members.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4th, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Peeples Family Funeral Home, 14165 N Main Street (Building C) followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM officiated by Pastor Micah Strickland. The burial service will be located at Evergreen Cemetery 4535 N Main Street

For Kameron: James 1:9-10
"Believers in humble circumstances, ought to take pride in their high position. But the rich should take pride in their humiliation – since they will pass away like a wildflower."
For grieving loved ones: James 1:2-3
"Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance."
A message from Miller Electric:
Everyone who knew Kameron liked Kameron. He was always smiling and willing to lend a hand wherever he could. He was often the first person in the office, ready to get to work. He was a great friend and teammate, always ready to give back to both the company and the community. After graduating from UNF, he continued to serve as a Miller volunteer at career fairs and as a guest speaker in their construction classes. To honor his memory, we are creating the Kameron Witt Memorial Scholarship at UNF. This endowed scholarship will last for generations and will be awarded to deserving students who embody the character, work ethic, and sense of service that Kameron demonstrated every day.
