Kara Marie Driver [45], peacefully passed away at Heart of Hospice in Fort Smith, Arkansas after a long battle with congestive heart failure on March 24, 2025.
Kara was born in Houston, TX to Michael and Cynthia Watts, on April 12, 1979. She completed a bachelor's degree in liberal arts at Excelsior College before going on to complete two master's degrees in business administration and accounting at Northeastern University.
Kara was a devoted believer who loved Jesus with all her heart. She loved to study the scriptures and encourage people to know Jesus everywhere she went. She was a mother, singer, songwriter, artist, and free spirit who loved life and always wanted to help those in need.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ernest and Barbara Watts, her grandparents, Allen and Jane Edee, and her son, Ethan Driver. Kara is survived by her parents, Michael and Cynthia Watts, her daughter, Savannah Driver, her twin sister, Kelly Wheeler and husband, Marcus, her brother, Christopher Watts, and her aunts and uncles Kent and Fran Watts, Benny and Lori Quinn, Roxanne Edee, and numerous cousins and extended family members.
Throughout her life, Kara was surrounded by the love and prayers of many, including Mary Ann Copelin, Ronnie and Carolyn Borger, Joyce Daughtery, Pastors Curry and Beverly Juneau, Pastors Greg and Lenda Crawford, Glenn and Sharron Driver, Jeremy Driver, Michael Harris, Matt Coleman and many others who impacted Kara's life.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at The Freedom Center at 2303 FM 1092 Rd, Missouri City, TX 77459 on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at 11:00 AM. In honor of Kara's love for Hawaii, please wear Spring or Hawaiian attire to the service.
