Kara Lyn Hall

Kara Lyn Hall, 42, of Lawton, passed away on December 13, 2025, at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo. A memorial celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Decatur VFW Post 6248, 560 N. Phelps St., Decatur, MI or Decatur Human Services, 102 S. Phelps St., Decatur, MI. Kara was born on January 10, 1983, in Dowagiac, MI, to James Hall & Kathy (Warkentien) Fleming. She graduated from Decatur High School in 2001 and continued her education by attending Kalamazoo Valley Community College. Following her time at KVCC, Kara began working at PNC Bank. Beginning with an entry level job, over 17 years Kara worked her way to holding the position of Fraud Investigator, a title she held with great pride.

An old soul when it comes to her music choices, Kara enjoyed listening to all types of genres from classic rock to today's hits. She also liked crafting and creating pieces of jewelry for her friends and family. Whether it was watching sports or venturing into the community, Kara was a people person and truly enjoyed being with her friends and family. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Kara is survived by her mother, Kathy (Bob) Fleming, of Lawton; brothers, Andy (Gaby) Hall and Zach (Abbie House) Hall; nephew, Huck Hall; grandfather, Larry Warkentien; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, James Hall; maternal grandmother, Arlene Warkentien; paternal grandparents, Edward & Vera Hall; and cousin, Melissa Warkentien.
