Kara L Levens

Kara Louise Levens, age 63, of Mobile, AL passed away on January 22, 2025. She was an incredible mother of three to Jonathan, Kelsey (Will), and Tyler; along with bonus son Lance "Bubby" Rudolph. She was also a nurturing and devoted Nina to four grandchildren, Cooper, Cole, Annie, and Davis. She is survived by brother in laws, Henry, Keith, Greg, and Jody. Along with sister in laws, Penny, Gina, and Joy. She was welcomed into Heaven with open arms by her soulmate of 46 years, David Levens, who passed away eight days prior. The two had an indescribable love for each other, and always said they couldn't live without each other. She was reunited with her sister, Lora McKain and mother, Margaret O'Leary. She was a dedicated Registered Nurse for many years, before retiring and becoming a daycare teacher. She was nothing short of a nurturer and caregiver. She was one who took care of everyone's children and would open her door to anyone that would come through. She will always be remembered for her loving and kind hearted personality by family members, friends, previous patients, daycare families, and more. The family will host a joint Celebration of Life for her and David in the Spring.
