George Thomas Levens Jr.

George Thomas Levens Jr. of Warminster, PA passed away peacefully on March 11th, 2026. He was 74 years old. George was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late George Thomas Sr. and Mary Theresa (nee Boyle) Levens. George is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Mary Catherine Levens (nee Yerkes) his children Samantha (Ide), Sean (Melissa), Christian, and Shannon (Ben), his grandchildren Lilli, Emma Lee, Jake, and Gavin; and his sister Ann (Joe) Melvin.

A loving husband, father and friend, George Thomas Levens was a manufacturing artisan occupationally, but to those who knew him he wasn't defined by corporate definitions of success. Where he found joy was in his family, music and a lifelong spiritual journey. In 1994 his love of history led him to Civil War reenacting where he connected with other musicians, where together they produced two successful albums. The proceeds were used to buy military grave markers for unmarked union soldiers' graves across the country. George wrote and produced many songs with a selfless mission to preserve battlefields and honor those who sacrificed it all.

Relatives and friends are invited to George's visitation on Tuesday March 17th , 2026 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM followed by a Mass at 11:00 AM at Nativity of Our Lord Church 605 W. Street Road, Warminster PA 18974. Celebration of Life Luncheon 1pm at Giuseppes's 1380 W Street Rd, Warminster, PA. Interment will be private at a later date.
