Kareem Ward Obituary
Mr. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Ward, age 41, of 367 Lane Road, Stantonsburg, North Carolina transitioned on Friday, July 19, 2024. Funeral service will be Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 11 am at Tabernacle Temple of Jesus Christ, 1601 Bishop L.N. Forbes St., Wilson, NC. Interment will follow in the Edwards Family Cemetery, 479 Lane Rd., Stantonsburg, NC.
A public viewing will be Friday, Jul. 26, 2024 from 4 pm to 7 pm at Carrons Funeral Home, 726 S. Tarboro St., Wilson, NC. The family is receiving friends at the residence of Mr. & Mrs. Rommie Pettaway, Jr., 4607 Prestwick Ln. N, Wilson, NC and will assemble there at 10 am on Saturday in preparation for the funeral procession. Please keep the Ward and Pettaway family in prayer during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to Potter’s Wheel Ministries, P.O Box 8, Mt. Olive, NC 28365.
