Karen Sue Andrews, born on August 21, 1946, peacefully passed away on November 23, 2025. Karen will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love for those around her.

Karen was a very thoughtful neighbor who visited the sick with home baked pies and care packages. She spent countless hours outside tending to her garden and yard, while the neighbors stopped by for a visit. Karen was very friendly and never met a stranger. She was an animal lover who fed anything with four legs. Above all else, Karen devoted all of her time to her family and cherished the memories they were able to make together. She always made sure they had everything they needed and wanted. Her grandchildren will always have fond memories of baking together, going on adventures and finding treasures while thrifting. Karen was a beautiful soul and will be greatly missed by everyone, especially her children.

She is survived by her son, Terry Linn (Rhonda Renee) Brannin, and her daughter, Cheryl Ann Abrams (Eugene Peasel). Karen was also a proud grandmother to Lindsay Renee (David) Kohlmeier, Amy Nicole (Nate) Edmonds, Tyler M. Ehlmann, and Ashlee Michelle Brannin, whose lives she touched in immeasurable ways. Her legacy continues through her six great-grandchildren: Owen M. VanSchagen, Zachary P. Edmonds, Zoe N. Edmonds, Mason J. Wilburn, Heidi L. Wilburn, and Clover L. Kohlmeier. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Duane (Liz) McGonigal, along with a host of other family members and friends who were fortunate to know her.

Karen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rudolph Anthony Andrews. She was born to Chester A. McGonigal and Ethel J. McGonigal, and she is now reunited with them, as well as her brothers Wayne McGonigal, Lafe "Andy" McGonigal, Leroy Boyles, and Lindell Boyles, and her sisters Ethel Boyles, Hazel Boyles, and Betty Boyles.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, Missouri, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM.

In this time of sorrow, we celebrate the life of Karen S. Andrews, whose memory will continue to inspire all who knew and loved her. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family, friends, and the many lives she impacted throughout her journey.
