Karen Floor, born on May 4, 1959, in Alliance, Ohio, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2025, in Poland, Ohio. A cherished member of her community and a devoted family member, Karen was a proud graduate of West Branch Local Schools, having completed her education in 1977.
Throughout her life, Karen was a vibrant spirit who found joy in many hobbies, including gardening, decorating, dancing, and most importantly, spending quality time with her friends and family. She shared a special bond with her loyal dog, Rascal, often taking him on walks that reflected her love for the outdoors.
Karen's faith was an integral part of her life, and she was a devoted member of the Salem First Methodist Church. Her dedication to her community and her church was evident in her warm and welcoming nature.
She is survived by her loving husband, Robert "Bob" Floor, whom she married on July 10, 1989. Karen is also survived by her brother, Kurt (Donna) Kelly; her mother-in-law, Juanita Floor; her brother-in-law, Steven (Marlene) Floor; sister-in-law, Marilyn (Carl) Kaiser; and sister-in-law, Debbie Falk. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews, who were a source of pride and happiness for her. Karen was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Larry and Linda (Ferguson) Kelly; her sister, Kim Marie Briggs; her brother-in-law, Lloyd Briggs; and her brother-in-law, Larry Floor. Karen Floor's legacy of kindness, creativity, and love for family and friends will continue to inspire all who had the privilege to know her. She will be deeply missed. Memorial contributions can be made in Karen's honor to Hospice of the Valley, 5190 Market Street, Youngstown, OH 44512.
A memorial service will be held at Salem First Methodist Church, on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 12:00 PM.. Friends and family may sign the guest register and send condolences online at www.brownFHonline.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, Salem (330) 337-6363.
