With great sadness, Karen Sue Fronce, 79, of Tomball, Texas, passed away on Wednesday morning, September 17, 2025, at her residence. She was born on September 16, 1946, in Caney, Kansas.

Karen is preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Betty Kirby; her brother, Keith Kirby; her in-laws, Chalmar and Grace Fronce; and her sister in-law, Mary Ann Fronce.

Karen is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Charles Fronce; her daughter Tresa Carrillo (Ismael); her grandchildren, Breanne Dean, Caden Dean, Christian Carrillo, Kalynn Carrillo, Bryson Carrillo and Mikaela Carrillo; her sisters, Kathy Mathis (Darryl), and Janis Ward; her nieces, Leslie Mathis, Kelli Gagliano (Tommy), Amanda Kirby; and her nephews, Ryan Kirby and Rodger Ward (Brandilyn).

Karen grew up in Odessa, Texas. She attended Odessa High School, where she developed a special interest in the band and twirling. Following graduation, she attended secretarial school, where she received a degree as an executive secretary. Karen began working for PanAmerican Oil and Gas Company and worked for several oil and gas companies throughout her career. Karen enjoyed flying with her husband and loved to spend time with family and friends, sitting on a porch and sipping wine. "It's been a wonderful 59-year ride together with my soul mate, she will be missed, but always in my heart"- Chuck Fronce.

Visitation followed by a rosary is from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 West Main, Tomball, TX 77375.

Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 24th, 2025, at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church, 11507 Huffmeister Road, Houston, TX 77065. Burial will follow in the Klein Memorial Park, 14711 Cypress N. Houston Road, Cypress, TX 77429.
