It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Karen S. Hudson. Karen, 72, passed away peacefully, in her home, on Sunday, September 1, 2024. Please take a moment and share a kind thought or memory with Karen's family at www.andersonbethany.com.
There will be a Graveside Service for Karen at South Park Cemetery on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 10 a.m.
Karen was born on September 3, 1951, in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Harvey G. and Wilma Lee Long. She was employed as a school bus driver with the Roswell Independent School District for over 30 years. Karen loved what she did and loved to watch the kids play their sports.
Karen was a force to be reckoned with every day. She started each day with a strong cup of coffee and a resolve to live her life the best she could. She was a spiritual woman who believed that one day she would be united with her loved ones who had gone before her.
Karen is survived by her three beautiful daughters: Jennifer Hart, Rebecca Posey, and Chrystall Hudson all of Amarillo, Texas; her sister, Dian Clements; her husband Jimmy Clements and their daughter Monica; grandchildren: Christopher Perez and his wife Amber, Erica Oswald, McKenzie King and her husband James, Bradley Hudson, Nicholas Bowers, Tony Hudson, Victoria Martinez, Trey Hudson, and Triton Wilson; along with numerous nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents: Harvey and Wilma Lee Long; her sister, Gloria Wilson; brothers: David Long, Harvey Lee Long, and Wayne Long; and her grandson, Damon Oswald.
She was loved well and will be missed by many.
