Patrick Foster Magill
Patrick (Pat) Foster Magill was born in McNary, Arizona on July 4, 1949 to Sidney Moffit and Victoria Allen Magill. Pat passed away September 7, 2025.
Pat was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Sidney and Michael Magill and great granddaughter Rosalyn Petersen.
He is survived by fiancé Sue Price, sisters, Sandra Petersen, Kathryn Robinson and Ione Heine, brothers, Tommy and Joe Magill.
Pat was blessed with 9 children, Eric Magill, Laura Price, Patrick Magill (Ashley), Annie Magill, William Magill (Shea), Zach Magill (Melleny), Katie Magill, Phillip Magill, and Andrew Magill.
He was blessed with 15 grandchildren and 2 surviving great grandchildren.
Pat was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where he served as a Sunday School teacher and past Bishop.
Pat graduated from Roswell High School where he was first chair trombone in the band and played varsity basketball. He was a die hard Roswell Coyote fan.
Pat graduated from NMSU with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and was a member of the Sigma Gamma Chi Fraternity.
Pat was a past member of the Rotary Club and past President of Armstrong and Armstrong Construction working with Bill Armstrong for many years. He was currently working with Ramirez and Sons in Hobbs, NM.
Pat loved hunting, fishing, cooking, making candy, barbecuing, baseball and basketball. His greatest love was his family. He had parties for his grandchildren and took them gifts every holiday. Pat loved to serve others and there was no end to his kindness. He truly loved and served his family, friends and strangers. We will dearly miss him.
Funeral Services for Pat will be September 16, 2025 at 10am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2201 West Country Club Rd, Roswell, NM.
