Karen Kelly

Karen Lynn Kelly, 70, of New Albany, IN passed away peacefully Dec 1, 2025 at Baptist Health Floyd surrounded by family. She was born July 24, 1955, to the late Howard Bennett Kelly Sr. & Eliza Hall Kelly. Karen was a beloved sister, aunt, & friend who will be deeply missed & forever remembered.

She spent her final years as a cherished resident member of Quality Community Services of Floyds Knobs, IN. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful staff for their kindness, support & compassionate care shown to Karen during her time there.

Karen leaves behind two sisters, June McCoy (John) of Shepherdsville, KY & Hilda Faye Byrne (Dan) of Knoxville, TN, two brothers, Robert Kelly (Linda) of Charlestown, IN & Curt Kelly (Pam) of Georgetown, IN, along with many nieces & nephews and a host of extended family.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by nine other siblings, four nephews & a niece.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 5, 2025, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home (7420 Highway 64, Georgetown, Indiana 47122).

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the service time of 1:00 PM on Friday, at the Georgetown Funeral Home.

Burial will take place in Wolfe Cemetery near Georgetown.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made to Quality Community Services of Floyds Knobs.
