Karen Lynn Walker Kosbab, age 75, passed away on September 23, 2025, with Steven Kosbab, loving husband of more than 40 years, by her side. Karen, born to Edward and LaVeeda (Treon) Walker, was born on November 12, 1949.

Karen, a graduate of Upper Arlington High School, was devoted and committed to animal rescue and welfare. She had several dogs and cats and more cats over the years. Any animal in need was noticed by Karen.

Karen was also enterprising. She developed and owned Cosmic Communications, Conniessier Collection Herb Vinegar, and High Street Blooms. High Street Blooms had the distinction and recognition of being the first floral shop to include beer, wine and champagne in their gift baskets. She was also a hard worker in the hospitality industry and worked as the pavilion Manager for Muirfield Village Golf Club for several years.

Proceeded in death by her beloved niece, Caroline Pryce Walker, and stepmother, Helen Walker, Karen is survived by Steven Kosbab, brother, Randy (Christine) Walker, nephew, Kelly (Dr. Lisa) Walker and their children, Ella and Dylan of Newport, Rhode Island; sister, LaVeeda Krumm of Naples, Florida and her children Ruth and Joseph, and their children, and friend and step-mother, Donna Walker, and other nieces and nephews. Karen Maintained a long-term friendship with her former sister-in-law, Congresswoman, Deborah Pryce.

Karen and Steve enjoyed landscaping their home and caring for stray animals. Her family is thankful for the support of friends and neighbors, as well as grateful for Karen's sense of humor and generosity in helping whenever needed.

Visitation is Friday, October 3rd, 2025, from 12 noon until 2pm, at which time the memorial service will begin at the O.R. WOODYARD Co. Funeral Home, 1346 S. High St. Columbus, OH 43207. A luncheon will be held at Harvest Pizza following the service. 940 South Front St
