Karen Kruppenbacher, age 67, of Hillsdale, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2024, at her home.
Karen was born June 27, 1957, to Franklin and Beverly (Feeley) Ruhl. She grew up in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, and graduated from Coon Rapids High School.
Karen married Charles Kruppenbacher and lived in Cedar, Minnesota, for several years before moving to Hillsdale, Wisconsin in 2006.
She worked as a caregiver for Clyde and Lila Buck for many years then worked at Monroe Manor and Harmony Homes in Barron until she retired in 2022.
Karen was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church in Barron.
Surviving, in addition to her husband; a daughter, Jessica (Joe) Brown of Barron; grandchildren, Anna Ruhl and Matt Ruhl; 2 great-grandchildren; brothers, Tom (Amy) Ruhl of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, John Ruhl of Chicago, Illinois, Marty Ruhl of Ladysmith and Jeff (Deb) Ruhl of Coon Rapids, Minnesota; and a sister, Donna (Al) Ostland of St. Croix Falls, Minnesota.
A Memorial Service for Karen will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 3, 2025, at Calvary Baptist Church in Barron, with Pastor John Terpstra officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the church.
Arrangements are being handled by Rausch and Steel Funeral Home in Barron. Online condolences can be made at www.rauschandsteelfuneralhome.com.
