She was preceded in death on February 13, 2024 by her husband Jerome G. Langenburg.
Karen was a member of the Red Hat Society. Prior to retirement, she was a medical transcriptionist and had been employed by St. Mary's Hospital as well as private doctor offices.
She is survived by her daughters: Jane (Ron) Tucker and Michelle (Dan Anaya) Fisk. She was preceded in death by her step-son Jason Langenburg, and her siblings Marilyn Hollingsworth, Norman Rowell and Mary Rowell.
The Funeral Liturgy will be Monday, December 8, 2025 at 11 a.m.at Penzien Steele Funeral Home. Presiding will be Fr. Patrick C. O'Connor. Visiting prior to the Liturgy will begin at 9 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital.
