Corey passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at the age of 25. He was born on September 14, 1999 to Michael and Shelli (King) Langenburg Jr. in Saginaw, Michigan. He graduated from John Glenn High School in 2017 and continued his education at Northwest Lineman College in Florida. During his time at John Glenn, he played Varsity Baseball for all four years excelling to be an amazing 3rd baseman. His biggest fans, Grandma Diane and Grandma Judy, always there to cheer him on. Grandma Diane called him her "hero". They are now together in Heaven for eternity. Growing up, Corey played for many teams, including SouthWest Little League, Pony League, Riverdawgs and Lumbermen.
Corey was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved camping at Old Orchard in Oscoda, fishing for hours off the banks wanting to catch just one more big one. His kayak was always with him in summer, floating and fishing down rivers in Michigan.
His sarcastic and funny personality as well as his inappropriate words will be truly missed by so so many family and friends.
Corey loved with his whole heart. If you happened to be one of the few in his circle, he loved you, trusted you and would do anything for you
Corey is survived by his parents, Michael and Shelli Langenburg; sister, Dani Langenburg; grandparents, Ken and Judy Stevens and Mike and Laura Langenburg; girlfriend, Kristi Snobeck; Godmother, Christy Langenburg; Godfather, Eric Sprague and many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wayne and Diane King.
Funeral Service for Corey will take place on Monday, April 14, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be Pastor Josh Webb. The family will be present to receive visitors on Monday at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wishes of the Family, please make checks payable to Shelli Langenburg.
