Ronald J. Kuehnemund
Bay City, Michigan
Ronald J. Kuehnemund passed away peacefully Thursday, December 18, 2025 with his family by his side.
Born in Bay City on December 17, 1953 to Ronald A. and Phyllis Neview Kuehnemund, Ron graduated from John Glenn High School in 1973. He spent his career with General Motors, working for over forty years at plants in Bay City and Three Rivers, Michigan, eventually retiring from the Fort Wayne Assembly Plant. Throughout his life, Ron found great pleasure and relaxation in fishing. He loved all things mechanical and motorized, from racing motorcycles in his youth to touring on them later in life. He could, and did, fix or build anything for anyone from cars to beautiful handmade furniture and enjoyed teaching those skills to his children. Ron married Theresa Vos on April 23, 1977.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents and his grandson, John Matthew Gulyas. He will be forever missed by his wife Theresa, daughter Cynthia (Aaron) Gulyas, son Stephen (Jackie) Kuehnemund, brother Bruce (Julie) Kuehnemund, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Celebration of his Life will be held Saturday, December 27, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Radiant Church, 2820 N. Euclid Ave., Bay City, MI 48706. Pastor Marco Salazar will officiate. Family and friends may gather at the church on Saturday, December 27th from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Private interment will be at a later date in Floral Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial donations to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mid-Michigan through their website (www.rmhmm.org). There will also be donation envelopes at church. Final arrangements were entrusted to Squires Funeral Home, 211 N. Henry Street, Bay City, MI 48706.
