Karen Mildred Masters

Karen Mildred (Petri) Masters, 82, was born in St. Louis, MO on August 25, 1943 to Oris Earl Petri and Mildred Louise (Huss). She passed away on September 30, 2025. Preceding her in passing were her loving husband John E. Masters and son Jason E. Masters; she is survived by 2 daughters, Deanna (Masters) Lysholm, and Debra (Masters) Rahmoeller, 4 grand-children, 6 great-grand-children. She was a loving wife, mother, grandparent, and great-grandparent. She worked a Mercy Hospital as a CNA and adopted every child on the pediatric floor or NICU. She loved fishing, camping, and playing cards. Most of all she will be remembered for being a care giver to everyone she encountered.
Services are Saturday, November 8 at 1:00 pm; St. John's Chapel UCC, 4344 S. Fremont Ave., Springfield, MO. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society for Pancreatic Cancer.
