Karen M. Neighbarger, 68, of Mount Vernon passed away on August 29, 2025, at her residence. She was born on June 25, 1957, to Eara Dewey and Hazel Marie (McIntire) Garven Jr. in Mount Vernon, OH.
Karen was a member of the First Church of God in Fredericktown, OH. She enjoyed coloring, painting, crocheting and sewing.
Karen is survived by her husband of 49 years, Kenneth; her children Rachel Neighbarger of Mount Vernon, OH, Douglas (Deborah) Neighbarger of Mount Vernon, OH, Melissa (Ty) Fletcher of Mount Vernon, OH, and Melinda Neighbarger, OH; grandchildren Lydia, Lauren, Kylee, Nate, Jordyn, John and Wayne; great grandson Weston; a sister Brenda (Dan) Roberts of Mount Vernon, OH and many extended family members.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Wayne Garven.

A celebration of life will be held on September 10, 2025 at 5:00pm at the First Church of God, 19535 Zolman Road, Fredericktown, OH 43019.
