Karen Lea Rainey, born on May 14, 1956, in Covington, Louisiana, peacefully passed away on July 2, 2025, in Folsom, Louisiana. She was a devoted family member and friend whose warmth and love touched the lives of many around her.
A cherished sister to Sharon King (Marcus), Karen proudly embraced her role within the family, deeply caring for her nephew Brandon King (Andrew Chain), as well as her niece Dakota King Foil (Shelby). Among her greatest joys was her delight in spending time with her family, seizing every opportunity to create memories. The newest addition to her family, her adorable and precious great-nephew Liam Morgan Foil, held a special place in her heart, and she showed a great love for him.
Karen was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Dudley Rainey and Bertha Lee Rainey. Their guidance and love paved the way for her compassionate spirit and enduring strength.
As we remember Karen Lea Rainey, we celebrate a life dedicated to family and love. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
Her family invites all to join them in honoring her memory. A viewing will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home, located at 75212 Highway 437 (Lee Rd), Covington, LA 70435. The funeral service will immediately follow from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, also at Bagnell & Son Funeral Home. Her interment will take place at Rainey Cemetery at 2:30 PM, located at 10447 Lee Cemetery Rd, Folsom, LA 70437.
