Karen E. Summerlin
Karen E. Summerlin, 69, died November 30, 2024 in Fort Pierce, Florida.
Mrs. Summerlin was born on February 22, 1955 to Charlie & Betty Busbin in Ocilla, Georgia.
Karen attended Okeechobee High School and worked at Dale Cassen’s School. She enjoyed fishing, cleaning up the Indian River, gardening, and most of all spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of the Summerlin River Keeper’s. She always donated and participated in river clean-ups and conservations of our lagoon.
Survivors include her children, Jesse (Anna) Davis, Jamie Lynette Davis, Jennifer Lee Davis, Devin Allen Davis, and Ashley Marie Davis; stepchildren, Roy (Ann) Summerlin, Peggy (Bobby) Allen, Suzie Quant, Jan Hagan, Sam Summerlin, David Summerlin, Joy (Robbie) Yancy; and a slew of grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Roy Summerlin, Sr. and parents, Charlie & Betty Busbin.
Services: A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 9, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Riverview Memorial Park, Fort Pierce.
