Karen Marie Witchley

BENBROOK - Karen M. Witchley, 85, passed away peacefully at her home on February 19, 2025.
Funeral Service: 9:30 a.m. Saturday, March 8, 2025, in Greenwood's Live Oak Chapel, 3100 White Settlement Rd., Fort Worth, TX 76107; followed by entombment at Greenwood Mausoleum. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2025, at Greenwood Funeral Home in Memorial Suite A, 3344 White Settlement Rd., Fort Worth, Texas 76107.
Karen was born September 3, 1939, in Superior, Nebraska. Her family moved to Mankato, Kansas.
She was a military wife, homemaker, mother, grandmother, and a great grandma. Karen loved to travel, work in her garden, doing her crafts, and quilting with the ladies at church. She also enjoyed dancing and listening to country music, as well spending time with family and friends. She was a member of the Benbrook United Methodist Church for many years and a member of the American Legion.
Karen was united in holy matrimony to Enoch "Dick" Witchley on June 18, 1960.
He proceeded her in death on May 19, 2016.
She is survived by her children, Wanda Harmon and Philip Witchley of Benbrook; granddaughter, Natasha Witchley and husband, Darrell Visinard of Fort Worth; and her great-grandchildren, Zoe Rae, Enoch James, Jackie Marie, Lillie Faelyn and soon to be, Robert Earl; brother, Richard Burns and wife, Nita of Mankato, Kansas; brother-in-law, Victor Miller of Texas; and sister-in-law, Mert Witchley of New York.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations are sent to Lancaster Animal Shelter, 690 E. Main St., Fort Worth, Texas 75146.
