Karen Marie Youngblood, age 62, of Oak Creek, Wisconsin was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.

Born June 27, 1963 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, she was the daughter of the late Leo Wieffering and Elizabeth (Donnelly) Wieffering. Though she was born in Canada, she always considered Lowell, Massachusetts her home, where she lived with her husband Mike and raised their two children. She was a fiercely passionate caretaker, and spent the majority of her adulthood working as a licensed practical nurse in various long term facilities, hospitals, and countless private duty opportunities. She moved to Wisconsin with Mike in 2018.

Karen is survived by her husband Michael Youngblood, and their children Adam Youngblood and his wife Kristin and their son Leo Youngblood, and Kaleigh Youngblood and her husband Christopher Vecchiarello.

Karen is also survived by her 3 brothers Michael Wieffering and his wife Charmaine, Eric Wieffering and his wife Ruth, and Brian Wieffering, as well as her brother in law Jerry Youngblood and his wife Loretta and her sister in law Tammy Youngblood and her mother in law Karen Miller.

Auntie Karen is survived by many nieces and nephews: Alex, Derek, Freddy, Helen, Leo, Henry, Jessica, Megan, Amber, Jessie, Brandon, Amanda, Reyna, Lauren, Georgia, Carvie, Jude, Adane, and William.

The family invites guests to attend a funeral service at the Immaculate Conception Church, 144 E Merrimack St, Lowell, MA, at 10a.m. on Thursday December 4th. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, River Road in Tewksbury, MA. Guests are invited to attend a reception afterward.
