LOWELL - William E. Jutras, 84, a longtime resident of Lowell, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Marianne M. (Melanson) Jutras, who passed away in 2011.

Born and raised in Lowell, Bill graduated from Lowell High School before proudly serving his country in the United States Air Force. Following his military service, he returned home to Lowell, where he married Marianne and together they built a life centered around family, faith, and love.

Bill worked for over 35 years at General Electric in Lynn, where he was involved in the manufacturing of aircraft engines. Outside of work, he dedicated much of his time to his family and community. He coached both baseball and soccer for many years and was a constant presence cheering on his children and grandchildren at their games and events.

He had a passion for travel and especially enjoyed trips to Las Vegas and Branson, Missouri. Above all, Bill loved spending time with his family, who were the heart of his life.

He is survived by his children, Gerard Jutras and his wife Judith of Hudson, NH, Erica Kopacz and her husband Richard of Tewksbury, and Michelle Crockett of Lowell; his six grandchildren, Kristine Jutras, William Jutras and his companion Sophie Palmer, Corey Goodwin and his companion Kailyn Kerrigan, Makayla Goodwin, Nicole Kopacz and her companion Mitchell McLaughlin, and Tyler Kopacz; and two great-granddaughters, Madelyn Goodwin and Aubrey Jutras.

He also leaves his sisters, Joanne Cassidy and her husband Brendan of Lowell, and Brenda Wilson and her husband Dennis of Dracut; along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Linda Jutras.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his calling hours on Sunday, November 9, 2025, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the Mahoney Funeral Home, 187 Nesmith Street, Lowell, MA. His funeral will begin on Monday, November 10, at 9 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will take place at St. Mary Cemetery.
