Karin Lea Newman, 75, born on February 9th, 1950 to Everett and Ruby Lumpkin, passed away peacefully and comfortably on April 23rd, 2025 with family by her side. She was a graduate of Brush High School.
Karin was survived by her nieces, Bobbi (Keven) Heitschmidt and Buffi (Shawn) Elliott; nephew, Paul Anderson; great nieces, Mandi Welch, Maggi (Chris) Bratton, and Claire Heitschmidt; and great nephew, Dante Heitschmidt.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Dan Newman; her parents; brother, Robert; sister, Sheryl, and nephew, Bradley.
Karen dedicated her life to music and her family. In keeping with her nature, funeral services will be private. Those wishing to honor her life can make a donation in her name to Harley’s Dream, a dog rescue organization.
